2023 Holiday Gift Guide

Here are a few of the BFFs’ favorite things to get for your favorite cyclist!

Getting a thoughtful gift for someone you love isn’t always easy, that’s why we put together a list of things we love at every price point to make the holiday season a little bit easier for you.

$10 - $25

These little stocking stuffers & trinkets won’t break the bank but still spark joy!

Bottle

If you open your cabinets and a tower of water bottles doesn’t fall on you, can you really call yourself a cyclist?? If you know someone like this, then add to their collection with a BFF Bikes bottle!

Socks

NEW SOCK ALERT!! If you haven’t heard already, there’s a new sock design in the house! If you need a cute stocking stuffer, then look no further and grab a pair for someone you know who needs toasty toes.

Cycling Cap

Who doesn’t like to show a little bit of flair while riding?? Get your riding partner a cycling cap that shows their personality! Whether it's a stylish Team Road Vibes cap, or a rainbow Gay’s OK one, everyone needs a cap to wear that they love. Drop in the shop to check out all styles.

$25 - $75

Some things that are hard to justify buying for yourself, but will be very appreciated when received as a gift!

Gloves

Gloves are like the socks for your hands, and who doesn’t like getting socks for Christmas?! But for real, hands take the brunt of the wind while riding in the winter, so having a good pair of gloves can make or break your riding experience. The Giro Xnetic 2.0 gloves are water-proof and will keep your hands warm without sacrificing the dexterity needed to use shifters & brakes – so really if you get someone these gloves, you’re really getting them the gift of a comfortable ride.

Bike Tracker

A cyclist’s greatest fear is having their bike stolen. So give the gift of peace of mind by getting the Knog Scout. Using Apple Find My technology (sorry Android users 😞), the Scout keeps track of where the bike it’s attached to is at all times. Plus, it can be hidden underneath a bottle cage using security screws so that it can’t be removed easily if someone does spot it.

Winter Club

We all know that keeping up with regular maintenance is one of the best ways to prolong the life of your bike, but it’s also one of the most annoying things about owning a bike. Especially in the winter when you get back from a long slushy ride, the last thing you want to do is hose down your bike and floss your drivetrain. Let the BFFs do the work for your favorite cyclist by signing them up for the BFF Winter Club!! They’ll get a punch card to use once a month for 3 months, and we’ll clean their bike and do what we can to keep it rolling throughout the winter.

$75 - $200

This is how you treat your loved one when they love to ride!

Tune-Up

A good bike can last a lifetime, so long as you keep up with the annual maintenance. If someone you know has a bike with visible rust and you can hear their brakes squeaking & gears clunking when you ride with them, then the gift of a tune-up will be their favorite this holiday season! Give the shop a call or drop in to set it up.

Radar + Taillight

Every bike needs a good set of lights to help the rider stand out on the road – the Garmin Varia is the best on the market! Not only is it a bright light, but also a radar that can alert the rider whenever something is about to overtake them. The Varia pairs with any Garmin bike computer or with the Varia app on a smartphone, making it super easy to set up. This makes a great gift for any cyclist who rides in car traffic to help them stay safe & alert.

New Helmet

Did you know that helmets need to be replaced every 3-5 years? If someone you know has been using the same helmet for a while now (or if they’ve gotten into a crash recently), then it’s probably a great time to get them an upgrade!

$200+

Hey Big Spender! These are the items to splurge on:

Fitness Watch

Know someone who is ready to ramp up their training routine? Then get them a watch that will help them reach their goals and look stylish at the same time! The Garmin Forerunner 255S is a sleek watch that can track all the important stats for any cyclist, runner or triathlete. Plus it comes in pink, so even Barbie would approve.

Bike Anatomy

The gift of knowledge is really the best gift of all! The best way to gain that knowledge is by learning from the best, which is why our service manager, Angela, is bringing back her 6-week course on bicycle anatomy & physiology. If you know someone looking to dive deeper into their bike and learn more about how it works, then this course will make a great gift!

Indoor Training Program

Ok, maybe the gift of fitness is the best gift you can give? If you know a cyclist looking to keep up that fitness through the winter, then our Indoor Training Program will make a great gift! This program runs through March & is exactly what every rider needs to keep them motivated ‘til the days start getting longer.

Kids

Here’s some little things to get for your littlest cyclist

Gloves

Cycling gloves on kids are simply the cutest! If the littlest cyclist in your life wants to be the coolest kid on the block, these gloves from Giro make for an amazing stocking stuffer.

PoCampo Basket

Does your little one always find “treasures” on their rides that they want to take home? Get them a cute PoCampo basket so that they can collect all the cool-looking rocks & sticks to their heart’s content!

Folding Lock

Whether your kid is riding their bike to school or the park, they need a lock to secure their ride while they learn or play away. Get them something cute & bright like the Bordo Lite so that your little one will remember to use it. Plus! You don’t have to worry about them losing the key because you can set the combination with adorable symbols that will be easy to remember.

Still not sure what to get?

let them decide for themselves with a gift card to their favorite bike shop!

BFF Bikes Gift Card

If you’re not totally sure what the cyclist in your life needs (or wants), a gift card is a great way to show that you care without having to decide exactly what to get for them.
