We are beyond thrilled to be hosting this event with the women’s 606 Racing team! BFF was initially created by 2 women who craved a space to race that was by women for women it is great to see 606 Racing continue the momentum!

A little bit about 606 Racing:

In 2024, 606 Racing began supporting a women’s team comprising elite and development riders, with a goal of raising the bar for women’s competitive cycling in Chicago in the Midwest. We recognize that for far too long, the growth of women’s cycling has been stunted by inequitable funding and public support; however, as has been demonstrated by recent media attention at the highest level of the sport, “if you build it, they will come.” In our own experience, we have received outsized support and enthusiasm from the cycling community for our efforts to build a high-performance women’s cycling team. In 2025, we look forward to further building on the positive momentum we’ve established by expanding the roster size of our elite women’s team, offering more support to our development riders, and identifying talent in the region.
