Join the BFF Bikes Racing team on their fast-paced, 45 mile Sunday training ride. The team’s goals for these rides is to increase speed, gain fitness and improve group riding skills. We ride in a rotating paceline and practice advanced riding skills. The speed ranges between 18-22mph as we ride out of the city. We pick up the pace once outside of Chicago and have designated interval and sprint points. We stop in Highland Park for a quick coffee break before turning back.
The team’s training ride is a challenging ride. If you do get dropped, come back the next week and see how much longer you can stay with the pack. Soon you’ll be leading everyone during a sprint!
