BFF Bikes to Beer is back by popular demand. To kick off the 2018 series, we'll be checking out Ten Ninety Brewing Co in Glenview!

The plan is to take the paved North Branch Trail up to the brewery and return on roads for a grand total of around 35 miles. However, depending on the size of the group, we may forgo the trail and stick to streets. For this reason, please please RSVP on the Facebook event if you are joining!

As usual, a Metra stop is nearby for those who only want to ride one way. The Glenview station is only a half mile from the brewery. Trains are at 1:40 p.m. and 3:40 p.m.

We'll meet at the shop at 10:30 a.m. to arrive at our destination when it opens at noon. The average pace is expected to be 14-16 mph. Food is not served at the taproom, but food trucks are typically on site. If not, we shall order pizza (or whatever the group is feeling)! 

We will start our return trip around 2:00 p.m. to get back to BFF before sunset. Just in case there's a holdup on the way back, lights are recommended!

Please bring a lock or find a lock buddy prior to the ride. If you plan on taking the Metra, bring a bungee cord to tie your bike down on the train or risk being scolded by a conductor.
