social media/events job description (Hours and pay flexible)

Job Description 

Social Media (10 hours per week)

  • Manage all marketing channels, including digital, social media, print, and events

  • Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience and increase ridership channels

  • Collaborate with team to achieve marketing and sales goals

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies

  • Draft monthly newsletter

  • Have an understanding of our budget and sale goals 

Events and Rides  (2-5 hours per week)

  • Assist in creating  calendar of events on website  

  • Assist in event/clinic planning

  • Lead rides and assist in coordination or other ride leadership

  • Lead monthly fix-a-flat clinic

  • Update event chalkboard as needed. As soon as something is out of date, update..

  • Post events in meet-up evensi and dabble, WPB newsletter/website, rides/ strava etc.

Customer Service (remaining)

  • Provide excellent customer service with high energy positive attitude is #1 priority

  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport

  • Familiar or experience with Microsoft

  • Experience with adobe illustrator or canvas

  • Ability to post to social media accounts

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus

  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is an advantage

  • Ability to lift and move stock as needed

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
